Too much. It's just too much. Tragedy knocks on our door morning, noon and night. Floods. Massive train derailments incinerating people, homes, lives.
Because of the scandals in various churches, especially in authority, many Christians, Catholic and Protestant, believe they can approach God in a private manner without the Church. I believe this is not a healthy attitude as the Church is the body of Christ.
