Lac Ste. Anne Pilgrimage begins

The Lac Ste. Anne Pilgrimage, which annually draws tens of thousands of people from across Western and Northern Canada, begins the evening of Saturday, July 20 and continues through to the morning of Thursday, July 25, the feast of St. Anne.

The pilgrimage blends the Catholic faith with aboriginal cultural practices, such as the esteem in which grandmothers like St. Anne, the grandmother of Jesus, are held.

More information, including a detailed schedule, are available at the pilgrimage website, www.lsap.ca.
