I was dismayed by the question to Sister Louise Zdunich regarding Christ's wherabouts during his so-called "lost years" in the July 16 WCR. The question is irrelevant. His ministry was obviously intended to last only during his last three years.

When the revised English Mass was talked about in the sermons or in the WCR, it was with the idea that the Church was going to give a version closer to the Latin that I grew up with.

Development and Peace is making an emergency appeal, warning that the Sahel region of Africa is facing catastrophic food shortages after erratic weather has caused the failure of crops. In addition, rising food costs have made it increasingly difficult for families to access food.

Andrew Tarnowski ("Magazine ratings undercut CCODP," WCR letters, May 21) makes a strong case for the care of money and uses the evaluations of a magazine that favours those who hold the pursuit of money in high esteem.
