One might wonder how Canada plans to use 65 joint strike fighter F-35 jets with stealth capability. Of course, there are all sorts of possibilities, both fanciful and realistic, in the world beyond 2016 when the first of the jets will come into service.

Honour God with our faithful prayer

Many years ago I had an experience of being prayed with, by the laying on of hands, for healing for my back. I wasn't particularly hopeful that it was going to work - after all, it was not as if I had cancer and actually needed God to rescue me. But I was willing to go along with their desire to pray for me.

Boyle McCauley Health Centre tackled Third World ills

When two Medical Mission Sisters arrived here from Philadelphia in October 1978 and saw what they called Third World conditions in the inner city Edmonton, they were determined to be a healing presence.

Sisters Estelle Demers and Teresa Arac were largely responsible for the formation of the Boyle McCauley Health Centre that opened in 1980. more . . .

Life Chain witnesses against abortion

"We've got to get our support out there to show that everybody cares. When they see our signs, that might ring a bell with them," Wallace said as he stood along 124th Street holding his sign and waving to passing cars on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 3.

Newman classes move to college in new year

Yoido Full Gospel Church
